Support Us

We welcome your support--thank you!

There are many ways to support your library. Our Support Us brochure has more details and ideas, as well as the ones listed below.

Donations and Bequests

Donations are welcome, and we can accept donations by cash or check. There are many other ways to give, from donating materials (that may be used in the collection or added to our ongoing book sale to raise money) to financial bequests. See also our Gifts and Donations policy.
Donations can be made by cash, check, or through the Paypal Giving Fund, which gives 100% of your donation to the library. Note: If you donate through the Paypal Giving Fund, please email director@carverlibrary.org (or call, write, etc.) with your name, donation, and address so we can ensure we acknowledge for your gift! We get notifications from Paypal once a month, so otherwise there might be a delay. Please include any special instructions such as "in memory of" or "for children's books".

Amazon Wishlists

Our wish lists are full of items which we would love to have! Click here to visit our Amazon wishlists.

ebay listings

We sometimes have vintage books or other items for sale on our ebay account. Click here to see our ebay listings.

Sponsor a memorial brick in the Library walkway

Bricks are engraved locally, proceeds go to the Town of Searsport's library's reserve fund, which covers major building maintenance and repairs. Click here to download the form for a brick.

Volunteer

Volunteer tasks include shelving, checking items in and out, shelf reading and organization, processing of books and other library materials, and more!  Call 548-2303 or email staff@carverlibrary.org for more information. Our Support Us brochure lists different types of volunteer opportunities as well as other ways to support the library.

Annual Craft Stash Sale

Fall 2023 information.
Keep an eye out for updates in 2024!

Sunday September 17, 1-4 pm
At Mermaid Plaza, 1 E Main St.
Love crafting? Our Craft Stash Sale will focus on quilting, knitting, sewing, embroidery, and crochet materials and supplies. Your neighbors have donated unused material from their stashes, and we will sell it at bargain prices! Quality materials are specially priced, and there will be super-bargain By Donation tables. Cash or check, please. See you there!

Donations accepted until Friday September 1.
This gives volunteers time for processing.

The Stash Sale benefits Carver Memorial Library. Funds raised will support library programs. The library is grateful to all our volunteers, donors, and shoppers for making this event possible!
